Luxol rocked with Bryan Adams
by admin | July 11, 2007
An estimated crowd of 18,000 fans and music-lovers packed the Luxol Grounds, St Andrew’s on Thursday evening for a spectacular performance by Canadian rock star Bryan Adams. With a strong voice throughout the performance, Adams hyped the audience with tracks such as Summer of ‘69, Heaven, Straight from the Heart, Please Forgive Me and others.
The concert was organised by NnG Promotions and was Adams’ first visit to Malta. “My grandmother and my great grandmother are from Malta therefore part of me is Maltese”, the rock star remarked to the cheerful audience towards the end of the concert.

Thanks for your good wishes Amrita - hope to meet you too some day - I wonder where that might be?! Sadly our “Globetrotting after Bryan Days” will probably have to be somewhat curtailed now - at least for the time being as we used a small lump sum pension payment to fund the travels - and the “Kitty” is looking very depleted now!!!!!
However, at least in Malta - we finally got to MEET HIM - albeit breifly - but at least we have the photo and personalised autrograph and an unforgettably fantastic memory of coming face to face with such an ENCHANTING and TALENTED man…… as well as the amazing Concert of course! I/we would love the opportunity to meet him again - just long enough to thank him properly for all the joy he has brought to us and all the good work he does so quietly behind the scenes for charity…… who knows? Maybe one day??!!
Kind regards.

Dear Christine & Roy,
The very fact that you have seen BA so many times made me so jealous and now I come to know you even have his autograph! You are very lucky people and it is so very nice to know people who adore Bryan. He is the one CONSTANT JOY GIVING FACTOR of my life and I have adored him for ever. So I can actually feel your happiness and sincerely wish that all happineess be showered on dearest Bryan.
Dont worry, we will always manage to see BA’s shows, after all good things always happen to good people!

Yes, i agree, in addition, i like seeing pretty girls too. In his concerts, there’s a lot. I admire them just as I admire myself.

JUST BACK FROM SEEING BRYAN IN CONCERT AT MURRYFIELD, EDINBURGH - IN THE POURING RAIN - BUT NOTHING STOPPED HIM - HE STILL APPEARED ON THE “B” STAGE (A SECOND STAGE SET UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STANDING AREA - FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T SEEN THE SHOW) AT THE BEGINNING AND AT THE END OF THE CONCERT IN AN ABSOLUTE DELUGE OF RAINFALL!!!!!! BLESS- “THE SHOW MUST GO ON” NOTHING WAS GOING TO STOP HIM GIVING HIS ALL - AS HE ALWAYS DOES COME RAIN OR SHINE! HE SAID IF WE COULD STAND OUT IN THE RAIN TO SEE HIM THEN HE WOULD PERFORM IN THE RAIN FOR US! WOT A STAR! HOPE HE’S HAVING A FEW DAYS REST NOW BEFORE HE SETS OFF TO THE USA FOR HIS TOUR THERE - THE SCHEDULE OF WHICH LOOKS PRETTY FRENETIC TO ME! KEEP WELL BRYAN! DON’T OVER DO IT - LOOK AFTER YOURSELF! KEEP WELL.
LUV
