Bryan Adams yesterday joined the worldwide campaign to find missing Madeleine McCann.

A video montage of the toddler set to the Canadian rocker’s hit Everything I Do was released on the Find Madeleine website.

It shows a mixture of photos and video footage of the four-year-old, smiling and looking at the camera.

Adams gave special permission for the song to be used.

The video urges people to look out for the distinctive mark in Madeleine’s right eye - which her captors cannot alter - backed by the rocker’s 1991 hit, which was No.1 for 16 weeks.

The apt lyrics go: “Look into my eyes - you will see what you mean to me. Search your heart, search your soul. And when you find me there, you’ll search no more.”

Madeleine vanished from the McCann family’s holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, on May 3.

Meanwhile, 100 runners in today’s 10km men’s fun run in Glasgow will wear T-shirts saying “We’re running for Gerry” and “Help us find Maddie” in support of Madeleine and her dad Gerry.
