Rocker Bryan Adams embarrassingly faced a chorus of boos as he attempted to perform one of his most famous hits in Manchester.

The Canadian singer, 47, chose a willing member of the audience to duet with him on his well-known hit When You’re Gone during his show at the MEN Arena.

However, with Manchester United having only recently been knocked out of the Champions League while arch-rivals Liverpool progressed to the final in Greece, his choice of singing partner proved a faux pas. (read more..)

Rock star Bryan Adams was off his normal beat this week, squeezing in a visit to a National Trust property between arena gigs in Glasgow and Manchester.Here was the famously vegan save-the-whaler chatting affably in a house festooned with hunting prints, tiger skins and the baleful heads of antelopes. Bryan Adams Prints The Square

CANADIAN rocker Bryan Adams is the latest celebrity to leave his handprints at Wembley’s Square of Fame.

The unveiling of a special cast of his handprints took place before he played the first of a two gigs at the newly revamped Wembley Arena and marked 20 years since Bryan first rocked out at Wembley when he when he headlined The Prince’s Trust Charity Concert in the summer of 1987.

On unveiling his handprints, Bryan commented: “Playing this year at Wembley marks my 25th concert here and I am honoured to leave my handprints in the square for posterity.” (read more..)

Bryan Adams At NEC

CANADIAN born Bryan Adams rocked the NEC Arena with an energetic two hour show.
In trademark jeans and T-shirt, he entertained a capacity crowd with songs spanning his 25-year career.
The veteran rocker, surrounded by ecstatic fans, kicked off by performing on a small stage at the back of the arena with There Will Never Be Another Tonight and Can’t Stop This Thing We’ve StartedAfter a spine-chilling solo of I Can’t Stop Loving You, he made his way through the arena to the main stage to knock out hit after hit with a fantastic four piece band.

Bryan Adams Appears on Plaza at 5 pm at Wembley on May 10th

Bryan will be making a public appearance at 5pm at main gates of the plaza a Wembley Arena in London on May 10th. Prior to his concert that night, Bryan will be laying hands in cement for the Square Of Fame to commemorate his 20th year and 25th show at London’s Wembley Arena.

The affair will take place infront of press and fans at precisely 5 pm, where bryan will make his entrance to the venue to the plaza.

AH, the perils of audience participation. No doubt Bryan Adams meant well picking an eager fan out to sing the Mel C half of hit duet When You’re Gone.

How was he to know she was a scouser - and that she’d shout “Athens here we come” to an arena brimming with Man United supporters still cursing their Champions League exit?

“We’d better get on with this before you get booed off,” grins a rather nervous looking star as the room erupts in deafening jeers. Still, at least the United contingent had the last laugh as she sang out of tune. (read more..)
