Bryan Adams’ Photo Show On Way
PHOTOGRAPHS snapped by one of the most popular rock ‘n’ roll stars in the world are coming to Helmsley.
Bryan Adams has agreed to exhibit Portfolio – a collection featuring 30 of his photographs – at Nunnington Hall, from May 1.
The Canadian-born chart topper, who divides his time between music and photography, has snapped a wide variety of people – from models and actresses through to musicians and royalty – in formal to more candid moments. Among his many subjects are Ray Charles, Helena Bonham-Carter, Keith Richards, Pink, Tony Blair, The Pope and The Queen.
His photographs have also been seen in magazines, such as British Vogue and i-D.
Simon Lee, property manager at Nunnington Hall, said: “I am really delighted that Bryan will be exhibiting with us this year. Portfolio is such a stunning body of work. I am confident our visitors are going to really enjoy the opportunity of seeing Bryan’s photos.” The exhibition ties in with Adams’ Anthology tour, which features the music he has written in his 25 year career, including Everything I Do (I Do It For You), Summer of ’69 and Thought I’d Died And Gone To Heaven.

wELL FANS CAN NEVER GET TOO MUCH BRYAN AND TO SEE BRYAN IN CONCERT AND THEN TO SEE HIS PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION—-’THIS IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE’!

I wrote you a letter once when I was stricken with breast cancer. It was 10 years ago. I asked you if you would use your fame to bring awareness to breast cancer and I see that you have. Maybe this is a strange yet incredible coincidence that you have played a major part in showing other’s that CANCER affects ALL of US. I find it amazing that you have done so much to show other’s that this disease needs to be made more aware of by other’s in order to bring about a cure.
Ps. You song “Black Pearl”, is still one of the songs that my daughter and I have enjoyed listening to.
