Extra Seats For Bryan’s Concert
AN extra 300 seats will be available for Bryan Adams’ concert at the County Ground.
The Canadian rocker is heading for the home of Swindon Town on Thursday, June 8, as part of his European tour.
Last year Elton John played a sell-out concert at the ground for 18,500 fans but this year’s big event could entertain 20,000.
Club chief executive Mark Devlin said: “We had a meeting with the guys putting the stage together and we have been able to firm things up. The sight lines have been improved so there will be an extra 300 seats available.
“The seats are pretty much selling out, so these extra seats are a godsend.
“I’ve been told that of all Bryan Adams’ concerts in Britain ours is by far and away the most sold out.
“When the people of Swindon come out in force like they did for Elton John it makes the town a very attractive proposition for artists and their agents.”
