Adams To Land In Doha Today

DOHA: Rock star Bryan Adams was expected to arrive in Doha early this morning for his highly anticipated Reach Out To Asia concert, part of his 2006 Room Service Tour, on February 1, at the Al Sadd Stadium.
The Canadian rock star comes to Doha directly from his trip to Pakistan, where he performed live to a crowd of 15,000 people in Karachi on Sunday evening.
His charity concert in Doha this Wednesday is expected to reach a crowd of 8,000 people. Concert tickets continue to sell rapidly and places in the seated area of the stadium on the fixed-tiered seats in the North end are almost sold out. People are, therefore, encouraged to buy their tickets as soon as possible.
Furthermore, seat allocation in the stadium will be on a first come first serve basis. Standing ticket holders will also have excellent views of the performance as they will be positioned on the grass pitch in front of the stage.
The six VIP boxes will be enclosed in private glass units on one side of the stadium.
Security for the large scale Reach Out To Asia charity event will be tight and certain items will not be allowed into the stadium. Concert-goers will be checked at entrance.
Finally, light refreshments, such as drinks and snacks, will be available for purchase throughout the concert, as will official Bryan Adams Room Service Tour T-shirts priced at QR100.
