“I am a musician and I am a Vegetarian”

Watch: BA’s new veggie testimonial

Bryan Adams might be one busy guy, but he’s never too busy to help animals. The rock music legend, photographer and long-time PETA pal took time out of his hectic recording and touring schedule to film a new vegetarian testimonial ad for us. Adams has many albums under his belt and four Grammy Awards, not to mention hordes of dedicated fans who have been enchanted by his music for nearly three decades.
In the past, he has also helped PETA US tackle KFCs in Canada, and he shot celebrity ads like fellow vegetarian Sadie Frost’s spectacular naked anti-fur ad.

In this latest vegetarian testimonial video, Adams talks about his journey into vegetarianism more than 17 years ago and why he developed his catchy motto “If you love animals, don’t eat them.” He explains: “I started to understand what was going on with the treatment of animals. This led me more and more to the path I’m on now – which is I’m a complete vegan.” He adds: “A lot of animals live very terrible lives on factory farms. I choose to stand against this cruelty. I hope you’ll join me.”
Adams also joins a host of other compassionate celebrities in PETA US’ veggie testimonial series, including fellow musician Sir Paul McCartney, Casey Affleck, Alicia Silverstone and Sadie Frost.
