Bryan Adams barred from Diana memorial concert

Bryan Adams has been banned from performing at a memorial concert for Princess Diana.

Adams has been declared persona non grata over speculations that he had a romantic link-up with the late princess.

Diana’s sons, Princes William and Harry, who are organising the concert have banned the ‘Everything I Do’ singer, as they wanted to make sure that no tittle-tattle looms over the concert. (more…)

Bryan Adams at the T-Mobile Megaconcert – Connecton Day

Bryan Adams’ Photo Show On Way

PHOTOGRAPHS snapped by one of the most popular rock ‘n’ roll stars in the world are coming to Helmsley.

Bryan Adams has agreed to exhibit Portfolio – a collection featuring 30 of his photographs – at Nunnington Hall, from May 1.

The Canadian-born chart topper, who divides his time between music and photography, has snapped a wide variety of people – from models and actresses through to musicians and royalty – in formal to more candid moments. Among his many subjects are Ray Charles, Helena Bonham-Carter, Keith Richards, Pink, Tony Blair, The Pope and The Queen. (more…)

Bryan Adams to rock the island on 28 June

Possibly one of the most popular music icons in more than 20 years, Canadian guitarist, singer and songwriter Bryan Adams will perform live at Luxol on 28 June, NnG Promotions announced yesterday.

NnG director Nigel Camilleri said that for the past few years, people had been expecting Bryan Adams to perform in Malta.

“The feedback we have got so far has been extremely encouraging and we are expecting Bryan Adams to attract thousands, possibly the largest crowd ever at any of our concerts,” said Dr Camilleri.

The energetic, charismatic singer is well-known for his live performances, during which, guitar in hand, he sings his own up-tempo pop/rock songs and ballads.

His raspy voice, simple compositions, and straightforward musical approach earned him early critical appraisal.   (more…)
