Food Fit For Rockers!

GALPHARM Stadium chef John Brooke is ready for the challenge.
He has to come up with a menu fit for a rock superstar next month.
And he roped in friends and colleagues at the stadium for a trial run – before starting work for the summer’s big concert.
Canadian rocker Bryan Adams is opening his European tour at the Galpharm on June 1 – and stadium officials hope to tempt music fans to sign up for concert hospitality packages.
Hence the special tasting event, when the likes of Town manager Peter Jackson and stadium managing director Ralph Rimmer tested Thai vegetable moneybags, prawn won-tons, escalope of chicken with button mushrooms and bacon, pot-roasted beef and brie and redcurrant tart.
John and his kitchen team will be preparing the menu for concertgoers who sign up for the special packages, which also include a Bucks Fizz reception and exclusive seats.

It’s still not too late to book a place at the Bryan Adams concert.
Some tickets are still available and can be bought at the Galpharm Stadium ticket office in person or by calling the hotline number 0870 4444552.
Officials are reminding anyone who has already purchased tickets to collect them from the stadium main reception.
